Feng Shui Horoscope

Feng shui - the Chinese art of spatial arrangement and planning - and astrology, only at first glance do they seem to be two distinct and separate areas. In fact, both seek to understand man (ourselves and others), so the two great ancient sciences can complement one another.

One of astrology’s (both the European and the Chinese versions ) primary objectives is to map the characteristics of people, their internal and external traits, talents and abilities. The ancient Chinese science of feng shui looks for an answer regarding in which type of space will different types of people be happy and how to shape the environment around them so that it has the most positive effects. In other words, horoscopes outline character and the individual defects can be rectified with feng shui.

The Basics of Astrology

When an astrologer prepares a horoscope, it is based on a map, a map of the the sky and the position of different planets at the time of the individual‘s birth. Since most planets symbolise a characteristic of a person, the characteristic of the individual can be described using the horoscope. Depending on where a planet was at a particular hour or minute, it can change the properties they represent and the intensity of internal forces, so that those who have the knowledge can precisely outline the main characteristics of the individual. For further details of an individual’s characteristics knowledge of the ascendant can help, which actually means that at the time of our birth it is noted which zodiac sign was at the easternmost point in the sky.

The Basics of Feng Shui

The meaning of feng shui is nothing more than the science of ’wind and water’, its essence is to bring the forces of nature into line with people's lives. Its central concept is the chi, which can be described as a life force. It is essential for a harmonious, happy and healthy life that the chi and our own energy are harmonious with the energy of our environment. There are two types of chi, which complement each other, the yin and the yang. The yin represents everything that is feminine: soft, passive, dark, night. The yang is the male power, and represents the opposite of yin. All that exists in the world people, animals, plants, objects, colours, etc. can be described as yin or yang. With the help of feng shui we can balance the yin and yang in our home, and thus also in ourselves.

It is very important, however, that we comply with the written rules of feng shui and furnish our homes according to them. Feng shui is a way of life, it has to be reflected in our whole being, way of thinking and in our appearance. The mere placement of objects and moving furniture will not change your life!

Whether we believe in it or not, no one can cast doubt on whether harmony is a prerequisite for a balanced, happy life, and feng shui contributes greatly to the establishment of that.

Feng shui According to the Zodiac

The astrologer who makes traditional horoscopes knows whether a person is a yin or a yang type. However, not only the type of person can be described as yin or yang but also the zodiac signs. Out of the 12 signs there are 6 yin signs and 6 yang signs, though they would more often be termed active and passive. Active, (yang) includes Aries,Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius and Aquarius. Passive, (yin) is Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces. Each sign should try and compensate within their home what is absent from their personality. In relation to your home, yin is everything that is horizontal, low, rounded and dark, and yang is everything that is large, square, bright and vertical.

Aries : Aries are very agile, passionate people, and they need large, airy spaces with a lot of light to feel good. Aries feature strong yang, so the yin must be emphasized in their homes. Their profession is extremely important for them, so the feng shui should be particularly focused in those areas.

Taurus : Balanced but needs safety, so they prefer the smaller, more intimate fields. The features of yin are more powerful in their characteristics, so the main task is the strengthening of the yang.

Gemini : They keep moving, always on the go, sometimes spinning too much even for themselves. The yin elements need to be reinforced and encouraged, like placing persistant motivational metal items in your home.

Cancer : They love children and are family centered. These areas will be strong in your home even if it was not directed by the principles of feng shui. However, as they are sometimes too sensitive and touchy, they should treat water elements with caution.

Leo : Strong, firm, a sign that wants to rule, loves and expects luxury. Large, nicely furnished homes can make this sign satisfied. Given that the predominant role in their life is the yang, the yin needs to be stressed.

Virgin: Virgos are restrained, modest, but very practical. They almost always need more space and more light than they give themselves. They should seek more yang energy and more of the water element in their homes.

Libra : It's easy for them to adjust, and love and intimacy are so important to them that they even unconsciously reinforce these areas in their homes. However, as they are a little unstable, sometimes metal and wooden elements are needed to reinforce these things.

Scorpio : Perfectionists, firm and steadfast. Because of their principles or work they sometimes neglect their family, so they should reduce the metal element in their home, and strengthen the family and home baguas (Feng shui tool – lit. ’8 areas’). Be sure to seek harmony, as they are basically a person of extremes.

feng shui

Sagittarius : A dynamic, independent, inquiring nature, perhaps it is for this reason that very often the areas of travel are highlighted for Sagittarians. Spacious, open spaces are needed so as to not feel trapped.

Capricorn : Often serious, lonely and looking for security, so they usually prefer smaller locations. They are sometimes tired, so it would not hurt if they have more yang elements and surround themselves with more room. Given its importance for money, the money areas must be skillfully furnished in their homes.

Aquarius : They are blessed (or cursed?) with the greatest desire for freedom, and are constantly in motion. Not shy to fill their homes with strange, almost bizarre objects. Due to their big desire for independence, they may want to strengthen the family and the children Bagua (Feng shui tool – lit. ’8 areas’), and because sometimes rambling, the enduring presence of metal elements can stimulate them.

Pisces : Sensitive, emotionally driven people . To strengthen their souls, less of the water element is needed. As it is often difficult for them to decide, wood and fire elements can make them stronger.
