That is why dreams tend to be forgotten so quickly.

So what is a dream and what is it for? Every day the cells of our brain have to actively work to expend their energy. By evening, their ability to respond fully to external stimuli has reduced a lot. First, a man has a feeling of fatigue and, consequently, he falls asleep - at this time our cerebral cortex inhibits. After sleeping, by the morning, the function of nerve cells of the brain is fully restored, and they are ready to begin active work again. Sleeping is as important as food. After all, a human can live without a food for about two months, but without sleep - about two weeks, no more.

There are two types of sleep: slow and fast. During the slow sleep respiratory rate and heart rate decreases, muscles relax and the ranges of movements of the person reduce. In this period of sleep, a person cannot see dreams.
